Friday 25-08-2006
After work we went to a restaurant Called Toriume near Seishinchuuou for Sasahara-san's farewell Party. As usual the diner started with raw fish so i declined, after that there was more meat in the menu ^__^, we stayed till about 21:30 then we (Sasahara san, Uchida san, Shibata san and me) went to the bar on top of Oriental Hotel we stayed too long and missed our train to Sannomiya, so we took the one to Myodani and from there me and Uchida took a taxi to shinnagata and then to my place.

Saturday 26-08-2006
Got up early watched some Anime, did some washing, Watanabe sensei called that she could give lesson because personal circumstances so i ate at stelar maris bistro and went to the sports center Early looked for some tank models for a friend in Holland, after that went home, changed clothes and went to Polodog, Very busy met a Dutch guy i had not seen in a while, we talked and then also Ian came we talked some and he invited me to a closing summer party in Suma, so i said OK. Around 11 i wanted to go to a rock bar which was called Iggy Pop, but when i came there it was already closed???? So i went to the Toycafe, drank a few and went home.

After work bought some gifts for my neighbours and tennants, because i have to apolagize to them for the grief i caused when my appartment was on fire. Watched King Kong the movie great effects but it did not do it for me. fast forwarded it.

Saturday 8 2006

Well getting up so early with nothing to do i walked around in Sannomiya, when seiden/tsutaya i watched on a screen they were showing a russian vampire movie Nochnoi Dozor.　i liked it, it had a matrix flavor to it  and some interesting ideas. Then i went to shin-kobe to apolgize to the neigbours together with the appartment owner. After that i went to pick op my bike near the hatber which the JR workers confiscated because it was standing to close to the station on my way back i found grinders a hamburger restaurant from the bay area i never heard of it, but it was good. Went home, did some washing at the 24H washing room. stayed a while at the 80`s bar then watched Million dollar baby was not a bad movie. i did not know that the dutch female kickboxer Lucia Rijker played a role in this movie.

Sunday 9 2006

Went to Osaka but was to early walked around DenDen town with most of the shops closed. Had to wait until 12:30 until the miniature shop was open, bought some replacements for my burned things, then went back to sannomiya, watched Sumo in a bar then sat in a park near shin-kobe and read a little then went into sannomiya

After work went to Sannomiya bought some American Comics, bought some secondhand DVD's went back home, packed my miniatures into suitcase and went to Aki's place there i watched some TV and read some, Aki had to work so she was late

Saturday 24 June
So same as always, got up early watched Enterprise and Babylon 5 then we went to ishiyagawa, to the game meeting, i only played the warmachine tabletop game against Tatsumi san first my new cryx group versus his new hordes miniatures (Skorne), the Hordes rules and Warmachine are somewhat different, took a while to get the hang of it. I won the first battle because of my warcasters special rule, aftewards we went eating at a nearby ramen bar the soup and the gyouza were not so good but the ramen had lots of meat, afterwards we played another game of warmachine this time his Menoth army versus my Khador army, i also won using the special ability of my warcaster. it was about 5 in the afternoon went back to ogi, then went to the sportsclub talked a little with a guy from Texas (forgot his name -__-) we went home watched a part of From Hell movie, then watched undercover brother i kind of black Austin powers very funny movie. lots of good funk and soul music. Big fun.

Sunday 25 June
Got up early watched some anime, it was so damn hot that we only watched some TV, watched the rest of From Hell, not a bad movie. then played some games, watched some TV in the evening went Back home, bought some groceries near Ogi station, At Home i watched the Movie Closer with Natalie Portman and Jude Law and after wards watched the Movie Swinggirls about Some Japanese schoolgirls who accidentally give their school's brassband food poisoning, they replace the band as a big band so they do not have to take make up lessons, but the girls like playing Jazz so they continue, with some hilarious moments.i also painted a little and practised on my guitar

Friday 2 June
After work went home got some things, met Aki at game center, Yuri was there but she did not want to join for dinner, we ran into minami-san while going to the gyoza restaurant, it was a small place at the main street, had some Gyoza, chicken and beer and after that went to trinity bar, chatted with some people they put jackie chan's new police story on the screen. After a while we went to Ogi.

Saturday 3 June
Got up early watched Enterprice (funny to see klingon's like in the modern series and not like in de olde version with Captain James T kirk ^__^) and Babylon 5, before noon went to Dentist AGAIN! -__-, then we went to sports center to do some fitness, after that we went to Sunshine warf in Ogi, bought a new refrigerator at yamada (funny the door can swing both ways), bought a few movies and a game, queen of the damned, forbidden planet and the game azumi for PS2 after that we ate big hamburger steak at bikkuridonki, walked around, always a lot of kids playing during the summer, we walked back, and watched Queen of the damned with Aliyaah (deceased -__-) the movie is not so good, but the music is great. and forbidden planet is just so corny it is funny, only the theremin sound get's on ones nerve after a while ^__^
I also tried Azumi, but i know now why it was so cheap, lots of text, and the fighting with the character is awkward.

Sunday 4 June
Whatched some anime, finished Forbidden planet, yet again to the Dentist, he wanted me to get a bridge? some kind of teeth construction that rests on my good teeth and ads a fake one in between, but my good tooth is embedded diagonally in my upper jaw, so i want no fake teeth (at the moment ^__^), i probably need surgery to get the good teeth out and place it back, that the dentist cannot do, and is probably why he is offering this. After that we went to the sports club. when we came back ate at the 180 yen ramen shop, went home played some dirge of destiny and then it was time for me to go back to shin Kobe, bought some groceries at 99 yen shop, at home which was very hot -__-, i did some washing, watched the ending of new police story and painted some miniatures.

Friday 26 May
Left somewhat early konishi san helped me with transferring my rent to my apartment owner. then i went to sannomiya bought some photo books and cardcaptor sakura CD's, then went to the International bookstore to look for some books of Laurel K Hamilton, where i am now addicted to they had one Anita Blake novel and one other which i do not know something about the fey, went eating with Aki at Macdonalds! Their burger still suck, went home got some stuff played some games and then went to Trinity bar, after a while Aki came we stayed too long aki got too drunk, we had to take the JR train, en then took a Taxi

Saturday 27 May
Got up early, watched Star trek and Babylon 5, then did some scanning, at the old people in front of aki's house there was a small event going on, we checked it out,  around 12 we went to the dentist, he removed the last part of a tooth i had for 34 years. The dentist was surprised there was nothing above the tooth on the x-rays it was just a piece of tooth embedded in the flesh. he worked another tooth i got some medicine, after that i went to rokko island for my japanese lesson, after that back to Ogi, we did not went anywhere, only quick to the Sports center, to use the Onsen facility's,after we came back watched the movie "Double Vision" a Hong Kong/Taiwan? production? about people getting killed by taoists, a role is played by the american actor David morse, it was a good movie, i liked it.

Sunday 28 May
Got up watched some Anime, again went to the Dentist for some more work on my bad tooth, then we checked some DVD shops, we stopped at a small park, with roads and stuff, for kids to learn how to behave on the street. when we came back at aki's place, played some games, Yuri showed me Final Fantasy 7;Dirge of destiny, beautiful rendered liked it, around 3 we went to the sports center, after that ate at aki's house, and then went back to my place, did some shopping along the way, did some painting. i finished the book Micah by Laurell K Hamilton, too damn quick, her stuff reads to quick, liked the book.

Friday 12 May
After work i went home i had to gather my Miniature collection because on saturday there was a gathering of warhammer(40K)group kobe. I went to Ogi, Aki made me some food and i watched some of the Sumo recaps she had Taped for me.

Saturday 13 May
Like always watched star trek and Babylon 5 then got my gear and we went to Ishiyagawa, not many people there so i had to wait for someone i could play game with, so i played warmachine, i played cryx and the opponent played mercenaries, the opponents warjacks (as the robots are called) were very strong. i did some damage but the opponent did more, i also helped him with some of the special things his character could do because he could not understand the english rules, but it was a fun game. after that we went home, it was raining a lot so played some games, watched sumo and in the evening we watched some movies, just visiting the american remake, still very funny, and Hellraiser:hellworld which was a disappointment only the ending was interesting.

Sunday 14 May
Whatched some anime then we went quickly to the sport center because at 12 noon i had appointment with the dentist he did some checking and cleaning. after that i went by bicycle t orokkoisland and Aki by Train. i had my japanese lesson, aki did some shopping afterwards we went back to Ogi, i watched sumo on TV and after that i went back to Shin-Kobe there i worked on my miniatures and watched some TV.

Saturday 6 may 2006
Got up around 8 watched Star trek Enterprise and Babylon 5, checked the Miniatures a bought and worked some on them also checked the DVD's and CD's i bought, Fixed aki's refrigerator the air-duct from the cooling unit to the upper area was blocked with ice and due to the bad design it cost me a lot of time to remove the ice which was blocking the airflow. we went to sportcenter around 6 when we came back i worked some more on the refrigerator and got it working again. we watched some DVD's i bough Lord of the illusions (clive Barker, i am a big fan off his work) and Bloodshed a bad horror flic about djin and wishes.

Sunday 7 May
Overslept a little watched some anime, wrestling (WWE) worked on the miniatures and played some PS2 it was raining cats & dogs outside so we did not go anywhere, forgot there was sumo on so hatched the last hour, with some upsets with the Ozeki's Kotoshuu and Kaio loosing, after that i went back to Shin Kobe, did some cleaning and surprisingly no Cockroaches, only dead bodies (5 cm o__o) so watched some DVD's with commentary and put some miniatures together.

Friday 28 april
after work went to eat at okonomiyaki shop near my house with my boss, had some talk about future off my company and other things, after that i went home got some clothes and things and went to Aki`s place, painted some and waited for aki.

Saturday 29 April
Watched Star trek and Babylon 5 went to Rokko island for lesson when i came back we went to Konami yamate sports center, because the one in sannomiya sucked big time to small, only a few dumbbells a lot of high tech training machines but many the same ones, so after training we went home and relaxed.

Sunday 30 April
Got up early watched some anime, we went to sports center, i played some game, painted some we watched some tv and movie on TV. for the rest we did not do nothing much.

Monday 1 May
We got up early, and went to Kyoto after some traveling on bus we arrived at eigamura (movie village) a lot of samurai movies ar e made here. they have an old edo period village and some attractions, a fight against a evil guy and hattori hanzo, a show where they show a scene being filmed (in a funny way) ghost house, geisha area, and some more attractions, like in the modern building they lots of life size figures of kamen rider and the original versions of what we call in the west power rangers. after that we took a tram into town, we walked through teramachi shopping street, a very interesting place to shop, lots off cheap clothes and unusual shops. we walked back to the main station and back to ogi. we ate watched some TV and then went to sannomiya to get on the sleep bus to Tokyo shinjuku the bus left at 11 o`clock in the evening. It is cheaper than the shinkansen but it is a bumpy ride, so i slept not much.

Tuesday 2 May
We arrived around ten in Shinjuku. we went to shibuya but we were to early so most of the shoppes were closed so we walked around it started to rain, but afterward we found a small shop we had some interesting books by Laurel K hamilton a sort of R rated Buffy the vampire slayer, i bought like 6 and red 2 before i was back in kobe. we went to some recofan stores one was closed. mandarake and the to Shinjuku. We tried to find the yellow submarine in shinjuku but the store had but it had moved when i looked at the playing list of a live house Aki noticed a yellow submarine sign on a building so we checked it out, but it had only trading cards, so we walked around shinjuku bought some CD`s at discwave, then we went to shinagawa where there was a Vietnamese bookstore Aki bought some books there. we took the train to Kuki were we were would meet Aki`s Vietnamese friend. we walked around Kuki station  found a game shop and bought shinobi the movie and some game. took some time to Aki`s friend to arrive and we walked to the other side of the station. we drove to Satte and met the rest of the family and stayed over.

Wednesday 3 may
The day after we went around sate to a hard off store, then we went to eat at a local ramen shop then the Vietnamese friends dropped us off at Kuki station, we went to Omiya bought some CD`s at a CD shop near to station there was a Radio box and they were interviewing Yuna Ito, i made a picture but no pictures allowed and she was wearing a hat and looking down constantly anyway. so afterwards went to Akihabara, found the yellow submarine store with miniatures i bought some we walked around some more bought some miniatures cheap at a shop of 5 stories loaded with model kits. And the we went back to Kuki, we were picked up by the friends Son (Fun guy) we watched Shinobi the movie together and ate.

Thursday 4 May
We said goodbye to the family and went with Aki`s friend to Shinjuku she went to her Sister we went to meet a japanese girl another one off aki`s friends we ate on the 29th floor of a Shijuku skyscraper some Tonkatsu we talked, then her friend went back home because she had worked the night shift at the hospital so she was a little tired, we made a sort stop at akihabara  and from there went to Asakusa on a new subway, we walked around until we found the shrine took some pictures and then went to Yamato took some time to find out to witch yamato we were supposed to go because there were 2? we arrived at Yamato got off  the bus some stops to early so we walked  a little and met up with Aki`s friends sister. we got to her place she had 2 kids a boy and a girl, the boy was a little sick the girl was 4 and found me "interesting" we ate i read some and the we went to bed.

Friday 5 May
We got up we ate, i played football with Nana the little girl so around 12 they walked to the  bus stop and we went to Yokohama, we bought some shinkansen tickets and searched for a yellowsubmarine store we saw from　the train after some wrong walking we found it, it was small and yeah mostly cards. we walked around the center got on a very crowded train to Shin Yokohame and took the shinkansen to Shin Kobe at took the subway to Sannomiya and took Yuri, Aki's daughter to eat Yakuniku nearby the we took her to trinity bar and drank a few, we stayed a little longer while Yuri went back to the Game center, and we went to Ogi after a while.

Friday 21 April
Afterwork went to eat at restaurant amataro in Sannomiya, it was very loud, around this time new students enter their school and new employee's enter the company, so there where a lot of drinking and shouting, after that met aki at Trinity Bar.

Saturday 22 April
Got up at 8 watched star trek & Babylon 5, Fixed Yuri's bicycle (aki's daughter) we also went to Coop shop to look for several things, around 10 we went to Rokko island, we met a Guy who had a bookshop in his house with imported Vietnamese books but very expensive, i only bought a english pocket by an american writer (which was signed by the writer for a few hundred yen) we ate 100yen burger at macdonalds and then went to my Japanese lesson, afterwards we ate ramen and went to Underworld:evolution Movie, i liked good action some interesting new insights and cool vampires and werewolves, then we went home.

Sunday 23 April
Got up early, watched some anime, when i was awake we went to Osaka, At Yodobashi camera i bought a memorycard for my phone then we met up with takefumisan, we walked to Tenma shopping street and walked around there, Lot's of Pachinco parlors and cheap clothes, Takefumi-san had to leave at 5 so we walked around some more at Tenma, and went back home around 7, put music on my new memorycard and checked the game i bought ^__^

Friday 14 April
After Work went to eat at a Ramenshop then i drank a few at Polodog and went home. And prepared my gaming stuff for the next day.

Saturday 15 April
Whatched some anime got my gear and went to Hanshin ishiyagawa, A japanese guy came along with lots of piercings and had a tattoo on his hand, but typically he was very friendly and polite according japanese way ^__^, showed some boardgames and RPG's he had, some very interesting stuff and some german board games i know. I played against Tau, with a take a hold mission, we were both close to the objective at the end but there was not much left off my army -__-, one of the guys had bought a miniature from a shop nearby so i asked him where it was, so after a while we talked some about the warmachine game. Then i walked to this shop, lots of old stuff and interesting miniatures but not cheap, i found some plastic space marines (somewhere between second and third edition).
Walked to rokkomichi to minami san's house but he was not there, i talked to him on the phone, talked some to the guy working on the shop, then went around there some interesting second hand shops, bought a CD from Gackts previous band, and bought Matrix reloaded special edition for 500 yen (about 5 dollar) walked through the shopping street until Ojikoen station went to Sannomiya ate some KFC, played some race game, went home. watched Matrix was not as bad as i remembered.

Sunday 16 April
Woke up a little late, after some slow waking up. i went to Umeda, changed there for Namba, walked to wards Denten town, Bought some Books and DVD's at book off, walked through Denden town, bought some more DVD's Looked at guys and kids, having a 4wheel battery operated racing competition at Joshin Kids land sixth floor, then met the canadian hot dog seller, talked a little (nice guy, a little bit stuck in the sixties ^__^). Bought a Transformer at Manderake for nostalgic reasons ^__^. walked back to Namba station ate some ramen at a very good place (forgot to take pictures -__-) went back home, did some grocery shopping in sannomiya and at shin Kobe, checked the DVD's i bought worked on my miniatures, watched some TV and again my weekend was over.

Friday 7 April
After work stopped at Nagata (jinja mae) at bookoff checked out their second hand DVD's bought some foreign movie cheap and went to polodog in sannomiya to eat, i had not a good encounter with a friend of mine so i went out of polopdog as soon as i finished my beer, stayed a while at Trinity Bar talked to a japamese translator and the australian bar-guys, went to Ogi and met up with my Ex.

Saturday 8 April
Got up at 8 watched Star trek and Babylon 5 as usual, i had no lesson today, so me and Aki went to Nishinomiya on our bicycles, allready a lot of people were whatching the cherry Blossoms, bought a flat-back scanner at a second hand shop. when we came around we wanted to ate lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant but it was allready closing? so we ate at 180yen ramen shop in Fukae, after the we went home i played some games and then we went to Sannomiya i met with Minami san and ate at kingyou (goldfish?) we met up with Aki, i quickly went to trinty bar because i knew there was a Salsa party that day but i did not know where, so i got the flyer, Minami san went home and aki went to the Salsa party, met some interesting people, my salsa was very rusty (had not danced for 2 years -__-) but as the party progressed it slowly came back to me ^__^

Sunday 9 April
Overslept a little, watched some anime, then we went to Hanami (cherryblossom viewing) we went by bicycle to ashiya parked our bicycles and went looking for the members of the Dutch society for our Hanami spot, for a while we searched on the wrong side of the station, but we found one of the organizers and although we where a little bit late we were the first ones to arrive, (dutch people always late on sundays ^__^) we stayed until 3, had fun whatching japanese and Dutch kids having fun met some new Dutch people. it was "erg gezellig" (Very Cosey). there was a little stand selling second hand stuff so we bought some DVD's a plate. Went home we watched George of the Jungle, funny movie ^__^, i ate and went back to Shin Kobe, did some shopping, Cockroach hunting, Cleaning, watched the original Rollerball movie with commentary while painting and then my Weekend was over.

Well on my way to work i saw the cherry blossoms blooming and this weekend i go to Hankyuu Ashiyagawa for hanami (cherry blossom viewing) with the Dutch society.

Anyway i went home a little more earlier (19:00 is earlier -__-) because i had a splitting headache. Anyway i saw some funny things on TV, there was K1 fighting on, Some comedy show, where funny acts were relation ship items were shown, the main guest was a member of smap (the guy i think looks a little bit korean) and off course there is always a panel with famous people (one of them was megumi ^__~).

But the other show i was watching was the Robot championship, last year these small agile humanoid robots went out at each other in gladiator style this year there were all kind of test and obstacle courses, very interesting. the finalist had to run to the finish on small ledges at a hight of 5Meters? some dropped, but the winner was a 24year old guy with a robot which looked like a kabuki player.

Monday 20 March late Half

Well after the internet Cafe went home did some cleaning and bug hunting, and watched rollerball a remake from the cult classic with James caan, luckily it was very cheap, cause it sucked, lots of action without direction.

Tuesday 21 March (national Holiday)

Got up around 8, watched the DVD nausica of the valley of the wind, beatifull anime, i can recommend it to everyone. then went to my ex. watched sumo there, ate and talked, went home, more bug hunting, did some painting and watched fantastic 4, just a fun action movie.

Friday 24 February
Not happening today although i met a colleague from Holland who had not been to Kobe in 5 years, it was a nice talk.

Saturday 25 February
Did not sleep too well, got up around 8 watched star trek & babylon 5, aki & i went to sports center but i had no strength so i stopped early, we went to co.op center, Aki bought some kind of nursery box for her fish, because the big fish always eat the small ones. there were some second hand CD's and i bought some CD's from Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Cocobat & Prong, for 100 yen a piece ^__^, went home watched TV, played some games, painted a little.

Sunday 26 February
Aki woke up late, i was already up, doing some work for Japanese lesson, we did not went to the sports center, then we went via train to Rokko island, it was raining, i had Japanese lesson but just like yesterdays fitness training, i could not concentrate. Anyway after wards we walked around Rokko island, ate some Ramen & Gyoza, and there was an exhibtion from a design school some interesting things to see. Nearby there is a building company, who put up some houses in different style, one was very dutch like, bought star wars episode 3 cheaply, watched at home with some ext ra's. 

Friday 17 February
Worked until 8 after that met up with Aki went to eat at ramen Bar, Stopped at a Game center, Yuri was there with a (Boy?)friend we played some games, A new Mario cart game with me, Aki and 2 Japanese guys, very funny game and i won ^__^. After that me and aki went to Trinity bar, met a american guy we talked some, i drank a few and the we went home.

Saturday 18 February
Got up early watched Babylon 5 and Star Trek enterprise, then me and Aki went to Sports center, after that had some fried rice and Gyoza at the 180 yen ramen shop, we went home, i went to rokko island for my lessen but it was not on saturday but on Sunday (i forgot o__o) so bicycled back again (extra training ^__^) so at home, me and aki left for Oishi not far from there live Minami-san, well a 20 minutes walk, Aki said there was a toy shop nearby, but we could not find it, so when we walked back through a side street we found a tiny shop, with Model kits, he had some ancient stuff and the owner could speak some german and english, Bought some Tamago Planes for a Dutch Friend and some 1/35 scale miniatures, one was really cheap, a german officer (which i want to use as a commissar for the game inquisitor) and a Dutch skating soldier from 1939, i never saw it, i bought it just for the heck of it (although the dutch army only lasted for 5 days when the germans invaded in 1939). So we walked to Minami sans place, the rebuilding of the "shop" is almost finished. we stayed there a while the walked towards Nada through the shoutengai (shopping street) some interesting second hand shops, after a while we walked the main street, Aki found a shop where her former boss works, stayed there a little, found a game/DVD shop, and i bought the incredibles special edition, return of the living dead (great zombie movie) and Lorelei (japanese Submarine movie), at Nada we bought some things at a wholesale market, ate at a izakaya with chinese waitresses and went home, and watched return of the living dead.

Sunday 19 February
Same as always early rise, watched some Anime then went to sports center with aki after wards quickly went home and from there to Rokko island for my Lesson, after that we were supposed to go to Blumer hat kobe to watch a movie, but it was late so we went home, when we checked the Internet the movie (Saikano) was not playing anyway? So at home we watched the incredibles and the special features, for the rest did some work for Japanese lesson and watched some bad steven seagal movie on TV.
